I’ve tried Peachtree. It’s ok, but seems like there should be something more user-friendly. I am currently looking at MS Accounting 2007.

Quickbooks will NOT work. This is an interior design business, and we have to keep track of inventory, furniture and other things, that are mostly rented out, but sometimes sold. Does anyone know of an inexpensive software that will do this?

As the administrative assistant of a brand new law partnership, I’m wondering what the best accounting methods are and what other small law offices use.

Can someone recommend accounting software for an ‘owner’ that will primarily pay invoices to various contractors, handle change orders etc. The software needs to be ‘online’ so that I can access the application from several locations through the internet.

Does anyone know of any good and free accounting software that tracks and manages inventory. I tried the free software from Microsoft Office Accounting and the free Quickbooks, but neither of them track inventory. Please help and let me know of some good alternatives. Thank you in advance.
